We at Haven Empowerment Initiative (HEMIN) have adopted a school as one of our various empowerment projects, and we are very passionate about the lives that will be impacted by this initiative.

The school, St. Paul Anglican Primary School, is located at Lapoyo Village, Isiun, Owode Egba LGA, Ogun State. The school currently does not have conducive classrooms and the students need some essential items. At the moment, the total number of pupils are 21, ranging from nursery to Primary 2 pupils.

Our aim is to provide much needed items to create more conducive conditions for learning and teaching. Based on our most recent visit, some of the items we have identified for immediate provision are as follows:

  1. Text books and note books
  2. Pens/pencils and other writing materials
  3. Writing boards with markers
  4. School uniforms
  5. Shoes, socks, school bags
  6. Furniture for classrooms (desks and chairs)
  7. Construction of decent classrooms

We have commenced the project with the purchase of some materials which are essentially needed at the moment. We hope to follow through on all the items above and put smiles on the faces of these children, and their teachers, and give them meaningful beginnings in life.

Our wish is that you join us in spreading love and support towards achieving this goal. Your kind donation in cash or kind is humbly solicited and will be greatly appreciated.

We assure you that updates on the project and any other required information will be accessible on our website – www.haven.org.ng.
