The day fell on a Good Friday. The Haven Empowerment Team took along food items and other needs for the children. The lady and proprietor met with and received the team quite well, and her work was applauded for taking the young children under her care, who may have otherwise taken to the streets.
The work of such women in our communities is easy to ignore, but the impact could be global, depending on what the children she grooms turn out to be in the future. Let’s all make our little changes in our corners.
