Haven Empowerment Team continued their support for the beneficiary school recently. The team went on to donate many more school items to the pupils of the school, inclusive of uniforms, sandals, etc.
Update – Phase One Support for St. Paul’s School Lapoyo
Following our keen interest in the needs of this school – St. Paul’s School, Lapoyo – the Haven Empowerment Team proceeded to kick off the significant task ahead by donating much-needed school items as a first phase of the empowerment project.
Visit to Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice
Just after Christmas of 2015, the team decided to pay a philantropic visit to Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice, located in Surulere area of Lagos. We stocked our car boots with loads of supplies, as much as we could get on the day, and proceeded to the Home. It was an enlightening, soul-touching, but fulfilling visit.
Charity Home Visit at Egbeda
The day fell on a Good Friday. The Haven Empowerment Team took along food items and other needs for the children. The lady and proprietor met with and received the team quite well, and her work was applauded for taking the young children under her care, who may have otherwise taken to the streets.
Supporting IDPs in Nigeria – Kaura, Abuja
In the spirit of celebrating the Muslim Eid with some of the Muslim faithfuls within the Kaura IDP camp in Abuja, the group decided to purchase some food items that was delivered on the morning of the Sallah day.

The Team donated food items – rice, beans, and oil – to the camp to enhance their supplies. The camp director was in full appreciation at the time, and also stated their dire need for medical supplies. Apparently, they had lost a few people through illnesses such as malaria, which could have been prevented.
