Tamilore Sadare Memorial Foundation (TSMF) held their annual food donation outreach on December 28th 2024. The aim was to reach 250 families by gifting food packs of dry food items, as well as distribute used and new clothing to the needy. HEMIN was able to support this initiative through a cash donation to the Foundation.
Visit to Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice
Just after Christmas of 2015, the team decided to pay a philantropic visit to Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice, located in Surulere area of Lagos. We stocked our car boots with loads of supplies, as much as we could get on the day, and proceeded to the Home. It was an enlightening, soul-touching, but fulfilling visit.
Charity Home Visit at Egbeda
The day fell on a Good Friday. The Haven Empowerment Team took along food items and other needs for the children. The lady and proprietor met with and received the team quite well, and her work was applauded for taking the young children under her care, who may have otherwise taken to the streets.
Supporting IDPs – Kaura, Abuja
The Team donated food items – rice, beans, and oil – to the camp to enhance their supplies. The camp director was in full appreciation at the time, and also stated their dire need for medical supplies. Apparently, they had lost a few people through illnesses such as malaria, which could have been prevented.
